A letter from the host

A place that doesn't ask nature for permission

When I first started dreaming of this space, I wanted somewhere nature wasn't a frame — it was the painting itself. Where tables came from roots and trunks. Where eucalyptus and rosemary grew between the guests and didn't need to be set in vases.

Algarve Jungle Events is that. A garden that becomes a banquet hall, a tent that opens to the sky, a dance floor that smells of warm wood by the end of the night. And one single rule: one event per day, always. So every celebration can be whole.

The spaces

Algarve Jungle Events is a private event venue at Sítio da Jardina, Bela Salema, about 10 to 15 minutes by car from Faro airport. It hosts 50 to 100 guests, runs from March to October, and holds one event per day. The banquet and the dance floor sit under a covered tent, so the celebration goes ahead even in the rain, and there is private parking inside the venue. Below is a detailed look at each area.

Garden area — palms, monstera, fern, hibiscus and strelitzia. The green heart of the venue, where we usually host the welcome cocktail.

Covered tent — sheltered area for the main banquet, with tables built from roots or tree trunks, no linens. One white coral candelabra per table. Eucalyptus and rosemary cut from the land itself.

Dance floor — dedicated space with proper flooring and connections for sound and lighting.

Civil ceremony — open-air ceremony area, embedded in the garden.

Private parking — for your guests, inside the venue.

What defines us

  • One event per day. Always. So your celebration gets the time and quiet it deserves.
  • Maximum 100 guests. Intimacy by design, not by limitation.
  • Natural materials. Roots, trunks, living foliage. No catalogue decoration.
  • Fire policy. For safety and environmental responsibility, candles on cakes, sparklers and “cold fire” are not allowed.
