These photographs are from real events at Algarve Jungle Events in Faro — weddings, christenings and celebrations shot in the garden itself, with nothing staged for a catalogue. Use the filters above to see only the venue (garden, covered tent, dance floor and ceremony area), only the celebrations, or the decoration and table details: roots and trunks instead of linens, coral candelabras, eucalyptus and rosemary cut on site.
The light is worth noticing. Most of these images are late afternoon, between March and October — our season, and the time of year the garden is at its greenest. Even so, a photograph gives you neither the smell of the rosemary nor the quiet of the place before the guests arrive. For that you have to come and see it.
